Historic
Faneuil Hall contains
several specialty stores. Stamp Of Approval is located on the
first floor of the building. From
Congress Street, walk to the
left of the
Samuel Adams Statue and
enter the red door. Stamp Of Approval is on the left.
Stamp Of Approval is a mini-crafts
store. They carry a large variety of specialized rubber stamps.
Embellish a family tree with a tree stamp or leaf sticker. Personalize that greeting card with a beautiful stamped angel, or
create your own old-fashioned greeting card with several rubber
stamps. There are many stamps for special occasions such as weddings,
birthdays, or for a new baby. Make a fine impression by
personalizing your message with a multi-colored Congratulations or
Happy Birthday!
Featured stamps such as lobsters are
manufactured by Zumgaligali, a local rubber stamp company, as well as
by other small boutique stamp manufacturers.
Very popular within the shop is a rack of name stamps with
over 300 different names. Teachers can find a rare selection of stamps
for just their profession.
A wide variety of stickers are
available, from local sports teams logos, to inspirational messages,
to pretty autumn leaves. Stamp Of Approval features rubber
stamps and beautifully detailed stickers for creating Boston scrapbook
pages. Hard to find static-cling stickers for Red Sox and Patriots
fans are available.
Arts & crafts items are also popular,
including stamp pads in many colors, specialty pens and pencils,
journals, scrap books, paints, and colored magic markers. Stamp Of
Approval is the only stamp and sticker store in downtown Boston, so this shop is a hidden jewel.
Stamp Of Approval is owned
by local artist Linda Levine. Prints of popular Boston scenes are
available in this shop, and the main
gallery is located at
354 Hanover Street in the North End.
