East Boston South Ferry

A view of all that remains of the old South Ferry slip in East Boston. Commuter traffic to East Boston at one time actually supported three ferry lines: North Ferry, South Ferry, and the Boston, Revere Beach & Lynn Railroad Ferry. The B.R.B. & L. was a narrow gauge steam railroad that operated a short line to Winthrop, Revere, and Lynn.
