A mosaic marks the spot of the first public secondary school in English America. Foundation of the Boston Latin School was influenced by Reverend John Cotton in 1635. The mosiac is located on School Street in front of Old City Hall. The Benjamin Franklin Statue is on the other side of the fence on the right side above. King's Chapel is a few yards ahead of the mosaic on the Freedom Trail. |
