Make Way For Ducklings, Public Garden

Make Way For Ducklings is a popular children's story dating back to 1941. The book was written by Robert McCloskey, and is about a family of ducks that lived in Boston's Public Garden. In 1987, a statue by Nancy Schön was erected to honor the book. The statue is near the entrance to the Public Garden at Charles and Beacon Streets.
