Tom & Jerry Eggnog Recipe

6 eggs 
1/2 cup sugar 
1 cup rum 
1 cup brandy 
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 
3 cups boiling water 
Serves 6


Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff, then beat yolks until thick with the sugar. Blend whites and yolks together and add the rum and brandy. Add spices and gradually add boiling water, stirring the mixture until well mixed. Serve in earthenware mugs with a dash of nutmeg.
