Faneuil Hall Marketplace Balcony

Faneuil Hall Marketplace Balcony Article Faneuil Hall Marketplace Balcony

A view of the balcony under the dome at the original building at Faneuil Hall Marketplace (also known as the Quincy Market building). The seating area for the many take-out food vendors is located in this central court. Tables and seats are visible in the photo above along the balcony handrail. Quincy Market was constructed in the 1820s, and this restaurant dining area has a unique atmosphere. During lunch hour and in the summer, the seating area under the dome can be extremely crowded. Many people sit and eat outside on the park benches that line the Marketplace, which is another great way to enjoy lunch or even dinner.
